Mr Viani collects the inheritance which has been Cristiano Ludovici’s until 2013, and will lead one of the excellences of the region.

A great honor received with great awareness, Fabio Viani thanked his predecessors for the excellent work done so far and is committed, together with the new collaborators, to strengthen communication activities for the promotion of Prosciutto toscano dop.

A promotion that will affect Italy but also foreign countries: the intention is to increase its popularity by leveraging the elements which differentiate the PDO from the rest of the market, but also to defend it from imitations, with a careful attention to the correct denominations.

Important presences are on the way: the Summer Fancy Food in New York, The Anuga Food Fair in Cologne and the ‘’Tutto Food’’ in Milan.

The Consortium, founded in 1990, aims to protect Tuscan ham from the proliferation of other products which have little in common with the Tuscan tradition. The aim is to promote, enhance and protect the product on the domestic and foreign markets, preserving its origins.

The activity of the Consortium and so the notoriety of our ham is in fact greatly increased, but Viani want to emphasize that the growth is still increasing and the potentialities are excellent.

The new President’s commitment will be to make consumers more aware of the meaning of the link with the territory, the authenticity and traditions which the PDO guarantees, by maintaining the product’s quality always at the highest level.

Il Signor Viani raccoglie l’eredità che dal 2013 era stata di Cristiano Ludovici, e sarà alla guida di una delle eccellenze della regione.

Un grandissimo onore accolto con molta consapevolezza, Fabio Viani ha ringraziato vivamente i suoi predecessori per l’ottimo lavoro svolto finora e si impegna, assieme ai nuovi collaboratori, a rafforzare le attività di comunicazione per la promozione del Prosciutto toscano Dop.

Una promozione che riguarderà l’Italia ma anche l’estero, con l’intenzione di aumentarne la popolarità facendo leva sugli elementi che differenziano il Dop dal resto del mercato, per difenderlo dalle imitazioni, con un’attenta cura alle corrette denominazioni.

In cantiere già importanti presenze al Summer Fancy Food a New York, Anuga Food Fair a Colonia e Tutto Food a Milano.

Il Consorzio, nato nel 1990, ha come obiettivo il proteggere il Prosciutto toscano dalla proliferazione di altre produzioni che poco hanno in comune con la tradizione toscana. Il fine, è quello di promuovere, valorizzare e tutelare il prodotto sul mercato nazionale ed estero, preservandone le origini.

L’attività del Consorzio e così la notorietà del nostro prosciutto è infatti notevolmente incrementata, ma Viani ci tiene a ribadire che la crescita è ancora in aumento e le potenzialità sono ottime.

L’impegno, da parte del nuovo Presidente, sarà rendere più consapevoli i consumatori del significato del legame con il territorio, le genuinità e le tradizioni che le Dop garantiscono, mantenendo la qualità del prodotto sempre ai massimi livelli.
